Entry Level Recruiter Jobs

An entry level recruiter position may be available with a consultancy or employer in any industry. An entry level recruiter is responsible for recruiting entry level employees for the employer or its clients. Specific duties of an entry level recruiter include contacting the clients or the hr department regarding current openings, separating entry level positions from the list, contacting colleges and placement coordinators for colleges, tying up with reputed institutes with consent from the management, visiting college campuses, conducting recruitment drives or job fares for entry level prospects, following up with clients for recruitment activities and performing several other tasks. An entry level recruiter typically reports to a recruiting manager.
An entry level recruiter should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in any discipline. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to handle issues tactically are essential. Prior experience as entry level recruiter may be helpful.
