Legal Recruiter Jobs description
A legal recruiter may be available with a law firm, in-house legal department of a firm or a consultancy. A legal recruiter is responsible for recruiting professionals in various practice areas of law. Specific duties of a legal recruiter include contacting the clients or hr departments of firms to know about available legal vacancies, visiting jobsites to get list of interested employers or candidates, contacting colleges for entry level legal openings, filtering eligible candidates for specific jobs, matching candidates with jobs, following up with clients for recruitment activities and performing several other tasks. A legal recruiter typically reports to a recruiting manager.A legal recruiter should have a four-year degree in any discipline. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to persuade others are essential. Prior experience as a legal recruiter may be helpful.
