Executive Recruiter Jobs description

An executive recruiter is responsible for recruiting for executive, c level or senior management positions for client firms. An executive recruiter is responsible for visiting jobsites or contacting employers who might be looking for executive positions to be filled, using industry-wide contacts in order to hunt for applicants, contacting short-listed applicants, forwarding applications to employers, fixing up interview schedules, informing the executives about the interview schedules, guiding applicants through the recruitment process, negotiating commissions, following up for commissions, regularly keeping in touch with employers, maintaining a database for future use and performing several other tasks. An executive recruiter typically reports to a recruiting manager.
An executive recruiter should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Excellent customer service skills and an appeasing personality are essential for an executive recruiter position.
