National Guard Recruiter Jobs description
A national guard recruiter is responsible for recruiting national guards on behalf of state government for the federal military force. Specific duties of a national guard recruiter include staying informed on the recruitment drives of the military, understanding the eligibility requirements for various posts, preparing a list of eligible candidates, hunting for eligible candidates on jobsites or using personal contacts, following up with candidates, meeting and exceeding recruitment targets, maintaining a database of vacancies and applicants, handling administrative issues, coordinating with other people in the department, making use of Microsoft Office applications and performing several other tasks. A national guard recruiter typically reports to a recruiting manager.A national guard recruiter should have an associate's or bachelor's degree. An MBA degree is advantageous. Prior experience working in a recruiting agency or consultancy might help.
