Sports Recruiter Jobs description
A sports recruiter is responsible for recruiting professionals in the sports industry. Specific duties of a sports recruiter include meeting and exceeding recruitment targets in the sports arena, contacting employers through telephone calls or emails, getting information about employers\' needs for recruitment, getting a list of available positions from employers, visiting jobsites or job portals in order to get information, contacting prospects, informing them about sports vacancies and the remunerations, guiding prospects through various stages of the recruitment process, maintaining a professional demeanor, coordinating with other recruiter, following up with employers and performing several other tasks as assigned by the recruiting supervisor. A sports recruiter reports to a recruiting manager.A sports recruiter should have a four-year degree. Familiarity with various positions and proximity to sports industry are preferable. Prior experience as sports recruiter may be helpful.
