JOB TITLE: ASSOCIATE RECRUITER, HIGH-VOLUME

Work in a fun and fast-paced environment where each day brings something new! This position is responsible for the recruitment of DSW hourly, high volume distribution positions. This position has the responsibility to make day-to-day decisions for the recruiting function. This position will be on site full-time at the DSW Distribution Center in Columbus, Ohio.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

*Support full-cycle recruiting for high volume distribution center hourly operations roles *Develop candidate talent pools through sourcing channels, recruitment campaigns, internet searches, networking groups, social media, database search, referrals, advertising, community, and outreach *Support weekly on-site hiring events, oversee candidate traffic and interviews *Screen resumes and conduct phone screens with potential candidates *Ensure external and internal candidates complete full application for consideration *Manage the scheduling of candidate interviews, follow up and the timely completion of pre-employment paperwork *Maintain a tracking system and other staffing reporting to ensure business needs are being met *Draft offer letters and send out all electronic offer packets containing offer letters, drug screen, benefits, and background checks *Responsible for the collection of employees I9s

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

 

*Experience working in a Distribution Center or manufacturing environment, supporting a business with high-volume positions is preferred *Proven success in managing and sourcing multiple openings at one time *Knowledge of Linked In, Job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems *Ability to manage customer relationships and communicate with a sense of urgency *Experienced in developing creative and effective recruitment strategies *High volume staffing/agency experience is a plus

EDUCATION:

*Bachelor's degree from college/university or relevant work experience
