College Recruiter Jobs description
A college recruiter position may be available with a college or a consulting firm. A technical recruiter is responsible for recruiting for different technical openings for employer or clients. Specific duties of a college recruiter include communicating with employers, getting a list of openings, studying eligibility criteria for various openings, visiting online jobsites or job portals, making phone calls to prospective candidates, filtering candidates from a database of candidates, contacting eligible candidates, matching jobs with candidates, arranging interviews with clients, following up with candidates in different stages of recruitment process, guiding candidates in the recruitments, following up with both employer and the candidates, and performing several other tasks. A college recruiter typically reports to a recruitment manager.A college recruiter should have a four-year degree in a relevant area. An MBA degree may be helpful. Excellent communication and negotiations skills are essential. Prior experience working as a college recruiter is advantageous.
