Technical Recruiter Jobs description
A technical recruiter position may be available with engineering, IT, manufacturing, construction company or a consulting firm. A technical recruiter is responsible for recruiting for different technical openings for employer or clients. Specific duties of a technical recruiter include communicating with employers, getting a list of openings, negotiating per candidate commissions, studying eligibility criteria for various openings, visiting online jobsites or job portals, preparing a list of eligible candidates, contacting eligible candidates, matching jobs with candidates, arranging interviews for clients, following up with the recruitment procedures, guiding candidates in the recruitments, following up with both employer and the candidates, and performing several other tasks. A technical recruiter typically reports to a recruitment manager.A technical recruiter should have a four-year degree in a technical area. Excellent communication and negotiations skills are essential. Prior experience working as a technical recruiter is advantageous.
